Description
Leclerc Lecasud, warehouse of approximately 100 000 m², delivers between 700,000 and 750,000 pallets every year to 35 stores in south-eastern France. Lecasud has been using Aldata G.O.L.D. software for many years because of its reliability and performance, especially G.O.L.D. Vocal for order preparation in their fresh and frozen goods warehouses.
Today, for technical and financial reasons, they have opted for the new PDA environment for G.O.L.D. Vocal which they are using in their dry goods warehouses.
With the PDA environment, there is no voice pre-registration required (the system is immediately operational). The "sort lot" function allows the picking order optimisation by the operator. This is a multimodal solution for all means of data capture and restitution (voice, keyboard, barcode reader, electronic tag reader (RFID), screen, scanning …).
