Migros, the Swiss retailer and supermarket chain, with around 600 outlets and 1.4 million customers daily, is a dominant player in the retail market in Switzerland. The Migros VAUD operations centre in Ecublens is the group's headquarters for "fresh product" logistics. Every day, over 2,500 pallets arrive at the centre, and are then redistributed to the group's various retail outlets.
