Description
The CERP Rouen pharmaceutical distribution centre stocks 16,000 products on its site at Saint Questin (Picardy) and supplies 250 pharmacies with 3 delivery rounds a day. 3,500 medecine trays go thus back and forth between the pharmacies and the site, over a coverage area of approximately 70 km.
To optimise the logistics of its trays, CERP Rouen has decided to implement the RFID technology developed by Smart Tracing Group, connected to Aldata G.O.L.D. Track. The delivery service to the pharmacy customers is thus more reliable and real-time traceability is ensured.
